Scarification of our Fairways

This week we have commenced a programme of scarifying our fairways. This is the process by which we remove excessive thatch, in order to promote a healthier lawn that better resists pests and disease before winter. We will be following this up with an overseed of our fairways next week. These processes unfortunately take up the tractors that we would be using to clear the leaves that are falling at this time of year, hence you will encounter more leaves than usual when playing, and the propensity to loose a golf ball or two will be increased.
We apologise for the inconvenience, but we are striving to provide you a course in improved condition for your enjoyment.
